CONSUMER

TBA Legal is a consumer protection, access to justice and overseas healthcare recruitment business concern. Our main aim is to offer consumers of goods and services and other members of the public, who may be unhappy with the services they have received and who may have been or currently being denied a right to complain, an opportunity to express their concerns and make their complaints in writing. We provide access to justice on employment, regulatory and education matters, while helping Care providers to recruit qualified Overseas Trained Care Workers.

EMPLOYMENT

If you are an employee who is a subject of a disciplinary investigation or you have a grievance against your employer, we can help you to prepare your Statement(s) and guide you prior to submitting information that might subsequently place you in a disadvantage position. We can help you to prepare your Grievance, Appeal, and Resignation Statements, as well as Settlement Agreements as may be necessary.

We can help you to prepare Hearing Bundles/Documents, should your dispute become a matter for an Employment Tribunal to resolve, while equally available to provide advocacy on your behalf, with our services covering Litigants-in-Person who may need a "Friend" to accompany them to Court.

REGULATORY

Our specialist areas include support, representation and advocacy on behalf of various professionals, who may have issues before their professional Regulatory bodies and who may be at risk of not being able to continue practising their profession, should they be unable to proffer adequate and appropriate defence to allegations brought against them.

We have a track-record of successfully defending Registrants before Fitness-to-Practise Panels, particularly ensuring that Interim Conditions are not placed on the Registrants while investigations are conducted. Our clients may be able to testify to our proficiency in even "repairing" cases "damaged" through lack of knowledge and/or incompetence by other Practitioners, among whom were Solicitors and large Trade Unions.

Typical outcomes for our clients are NO CASE TO ANSWER, especially if we are instructed very early upon receipt of a Notification of Referral.

EDUCATION

​

We have extensive experience in providing advice, representation and advocacy services to students, who may have academic disputes with their institutions, up to and including presenting complaints to the Office of the Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education or the High Court seeking Judicial Review of the OIA's decisions. Although, we do not have automatic Right of Audience before the Courts; we may be granted Automatic Right of Audience to help the Court resolve disputes, as it had happened on several occasions.

OVERSEAS RECRUITMENT

TBA Legal can help your organisation in its recruitment of staff, particularly Overseas Healthcare Workers and will be interested in hearing from you regarding your needs. We also act on behalf of Overseas Trained Healthcare Workers willing to offer their services to the NHS and/or the Independent Care Providers and therefore look forward to hearing from prospective Overseas Care Workers.

We have recorded and obtained significant positive outcomes for our clients in all areas of our specialisation. Our Director had particularly supported the recruitment of Overseas Nurses into the UK previously and is therefore very competent in facilitating such services on behalf of both employers and employees.
